Wills, Probate & Trusts:

Wills

The importance of making a will cannot be over emphasised no matter how large or small your estate is. A will contains your instructions and wishes as to how your property and assets are to be distributed after your death. If you die without a will then the government has laid down rules which stipulate who will inherit your estate and in most cases, this may not match your own wishes. Therefore although the concept of making a Will can appear morbid, by making a will you can ensure that your wishes are fully met and family and other loved ones are provided for. Making a will also plays a key role on how Inheritance Tax might affect your assets and whether any tax planning measures can be used to avoid or limit Inheritance Tax on your death.

At Towns Needham we work efficiently to ensure that the process of making a will is easily understandable from beginning to end. We liaise with you throughout the Will making process to ensure that your wishes are fully addressed. We also offer a service where in certain circumstances we can visit you in your own home, care home or hospital. We offer to store the completed original Will in our wills safe indefinitely for safekeeping and we do not charge for this service.

Once your Will has been completed you can enjoy peace of mind that your wishes will be carried out when the time comes.

If you would like to proceed with instructing Towns Needham to prepare your will, please contact a member of our team for further advice and assistance.
