When can I make a claim? – At any time within three years when you have been injured in an accident which wasn’t entirely your fault.

What can I claim for? – If your claim is successful, you can claim compensation for the injury along with any loss of earnings, care costs and any other expenses resulting from the accident..

How much will I receive if my claim is successful? – This will depend on how severely you have been injured. Your experienced solicitor will obtain a medical report on your injuries and then use Judicial Guidelines and previously decided cases to value your compensation. If a settlement cannot be agreed with the defendants a court may decide how much compensation you will receive.

How much will it cost? – When you contact Towns Needham, one of our solicitors will advise you on your claim for free. We will also discuss all the possible funding options with you. If we believe that your claim will be successful, we will pursue the claim on a ‘No Win, No Fee’ basis. If the claim is successful, our fees will be paid by the Defendant. If the claim is unsuccessful, we will not claim solicitor fees, the defendant’s fees will be paid by an insurance policy which we will put in place if you do not already have one.

Will I receive 100% of my recovered compensation? – Yes. If your claim is successful, you will receive your compensation in full with no deductions. Our costs are claimed separately from the defendants.

How long will it take? – A personal injury claim can take between 6 months and 5 years and at the outset, no one can predict what will happen in your claim.
