Doing our bit...Charity Work
At Towns Needham we are strong supporters of local and national cancer charities.
Each year many of our employees run in the BUPA Great Manchester Run for Cancer Research UK and Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Volunteer Day
Since charities are important worthwhile causes, Towns Needham offers one full paid day for employees to volunteer for a charity of their choice.
Climate Change
Small businesses emissions are not the main contributors to climate and environmental change, but if they all took small steps to reducing their carbon footprint a large step would be taken towards meeting the UK’s CO2 target for 2050.
Therefore at Towns Needham we have implemented simple yet important changes to help towards this aim.
- Energy saving light bulbs in all light fittings
- Old computer equipment recycled and replaced by energy efficient new models
- All computers switched off at the end of the day and during weekends
- Lights switched off when room not in use
- All paper recycled
